Zach is a senior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Agriculture and Natural Resources. Prior to joining the Completely Connecticut Agriculture crew he was involved with Connecticut FFA serving as the State FFA President from 2017-2018. Over the past five years he has worked in agricultural production, working at Roxbrook Farm in New Milford. Zach now works for UConn Extension with a goal to build on their video library and podcast series. Currently Zach is an ambassador for the College of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources at UConn. This past summer Zach served as an intern for Litchfield County 4-H working on virtual education programs for members. In his spare time he enjoys listening to podcasts and audiobooks and enjoys reading whenever possible. With a goal of helping New England craft a more sustainable food supply Zach is hoping to attend grad school to focus on agricultural sustainability.
