Jon is a senior at UConn that’s double majoring in Agriculture and Natural Resources and Sustainable Plant and Soil Systems. Prior to becoming the videographer/editor for this film, he served as the State Reporter of the Connecticut FFA Association, where he learned his way around a camera by making promotional video content.

During high school, Jon was a member of the Stamford Regional FFA chapter where he discovered his passion for agriculture. During high school he ran his business, Fairfield County Hydroponics, where he built hydroponic systems and consulted on other related agricultural projects. His agricultural adventures also have veered into poultry, aquaculture, and small animal operations. Nowadays, in his free time he tends to his chickens at home and hangs out with his rabbit, Spencer.  

Looking towards the future, Jon is heading towards graduate school for next year, and is planning on a career in agricultural education
